It’s time! Fall has officially arrived, and Huntsville is bursting with activities for everyone. We’ve compiled a list of some fun happenings, and we let each event tell you a little about how to participate:
Huntsville Ghost Walk (every Fri/Sat in Sept/Oct)
The Huntsville Ghost Walk will begin another chilling season on Friday, September 2, 2022. All tours begin at Harrison Brothers Hardware Store, located at 124 South Side Square, promptly at 6 p.m.
You choose one of three guided tours through the Twickenham District, the Old Town District, or the Downtown District.
Hear stories from Huntsville’s haunted past and learn why the spirits remain.

Fall Plant Sale at the Botanical Gardens (Sept 24, 8am-4pm)
Did you know that fall is the BEST time to plant trees, shrubs, and perennials in your garden? The season brings a mix of warm soil and cool air for grass, and the moisture helps trees and shrubs establish their root systems.
Rocket City Fall Cruise In (Sept 24, 10am-2pm)
Please join us for our 6th Annual Fall Cruise In at Johnny Gryll’s II. All of the proceeds are going to Still Serving Veterans. It is open to ALL MAKES AND MODELS! Registration is $20. There will be trophies and door prizes. Come out and show your support for our Soldiers and Veterans.
Crush Wine and Food Festival (Sept 24, 2-6pm)
The Crush Wine and Food Festival returns to Big Spring Park in beautiful downtown Huntsville for its 8th year! Sample flights from bold rich reds, to fun light whites and everything in between.
Not a wine drinker? Not a problem. The Whiskey and Wild Game Garden is returning and will feature whiskeys and bourbons that are sure to impress even the most discerning palate.
Our festival partners are the industry’s best of the best! You’ll find charcuterie boards, chocolatiers, gourmet sandwiches, private wine guru tours, bougie Wild Honey private tents, local artists, live music, grape stomping, and some super fun surprises you won’t want to miss!

Huntsville Comic Convention (Oct 1, 11am-7pm)
The Huntsville Comic Convention is the BEST value in Fandom! Since 2017 they’ve provided an affordable, fan-friendly show with great guests, amazing dealers and artists bringing thousands of Comic Books, Toys, J-POP, Manga & Anime Items, T-Shirts, Jewelry, Movie & Anime Posters, Collectibles, and more! Alabama Honey Festival (October 2, 1-4pm)
Join in for another fun filled afternoon on Oct 2, 2022. The 4th Annual Alabama Honey Festival is at Artisans Cove from 1-5. Educators, Beekeepers and Vendors will be there to show off how we need to co-exist with our bee pollinators. The viewing area will be open to the public, including the bee lab and new Honey Bee Learning Center. Check out the food demo inside the gallery. Please note that parking is offsite and restrooms are EXTREMELY LIMITED.
2nd Annual Good Music & Arts Festival (Oct 2, 3-8pm)
The 2nd Annual Good Music & Arts Festival is a 100% Family-Friendly event including nonprofits and vendors that celebrate, showcase uplifting, positive, inspirational music, creative expressions in spoken word, dance, art, food, services, activities for kids, teens: families alike.
The purpose of the 2nd Annual Good Music & Arts Festival is to provide 100% family-friendly festival that celebrates music and art from the United Federation of Artistic Minds that promotes the good of all, unity, diversity, and good citizenship along with exposing our citizens to our amazing nonprofits, civic organizations, youth and family services, community agencies, resources and vendors in our city and surrounding area annual.

Records & Retro Market (Oct 16, 11am-5pm)
Calling all music and retro enthusiasts! Vertical House Records and Yellowhammer Brewing present the Records & Retro Market at The Orion Amphitheater on Sunday, October 16th.
Celebrating all things groovy, this market will feature local and regional music vendors offering everything from vinyl and CDs to memorabilia and equipment. The market will also feature retro pop-up shops with anything and everything vintage – clothing, housewares, art, jewelry, and more.
The Records & Retro Market is FREE and open to the public, with live music, food trucks, and family-friendly activities from 11 AM – 5 PM.
