Downtown Art Walks

May 4 (Recurring) | 11 am – 3 pm

Courthouse Square

Explore new scenes in beautiful Downtown Huntsville while shopping for art, jewelry, decor, treats, and more from over 50 local vendors! Each event is FREE to attend and will include live music, yard games, and kid-friendly activities. The locations are all in open entertainment districts, so you can grab a purple cup from a local establishment to sip on while you stroll.

Outdoor Markets at Lowe Mill

May 4 (Recurring every Saturday through October 26) | 11 am – 4 pm
Lowe Mill

Join us every Saturday, 11AM – 4PM, from May 4 until October 26 for our Outdoor Market. Vendors from all over the area will present their finest products, whether made-by-hand, second-hand or made by the earth. Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment will host this event throughout the grounds providing patrons, pickers, and art lovers with an open air shopping experience (weather permitting).

Yes, May 4 is “International Star Wars Day,” and of course the Huntsville Symphony intends to make an Imperially big deal about it. Few musicians in this galaxy (or any other) have impacted the art of cinema more than the great John Williams, whose insightfully crafted scores have enthralled audiences for more than seventy years now. This program celebrates the Movie Maestro’s life and legacy, along with classic selections by fellow film composers including Leonard Bernstein.

Murder at the Grand Ball

Straight to Ale Speakeasy

Step back in time to the elegant and mysterious world of the Regency era as you attend the “Murder at the Grand Ball” mystery dinner. Envision being in the enchanting ambiance of a grand ballroom reminiscent of Almack’s, this immersive experience will transport you to a glittering evening of romance, rivalry, and suspense.

In this interactive experience, the audience teams together in groups to determine whodunnit. Some lucky audience members will be chosen to act alongside the show’s actors and play the roles of staff members and entertainers of The Blue Melody.

Embrace the regal fashion of the Regency era and come dressed in your finest ballroom attire. Ball gowns, waistcoats, and top hats are encouraged as you mingle with the fashionable elite of society.
